Normal homes seem so boring, not to mention they are easily destroyed. Just look at any location that get flooded, earthquakes, hurricane/Tornado, etc...
It seems like so much of a waste of wood and other materials. Now I am no 'save the earth' activist, but still I think it's in every ones best interest to recycle and conserve what natural resources we have.

My favorite home design has always been a Hobbit Hole. They seem so peaceful and luxurious. Not to mention being underground would protect the home from many natural disasters, well maybe not a flood, unless you build on a big hill.
